The Rainbow and Feather Garments Dance show composed by Gansu Opera House marked the start of the Dunhuang tourism promotion meeting. Performers in Tang Dynasty-style dress presented a myth in which Emperor Xuanzong (685–762) meets fairies in the palace of the moon.
During the meeting, an official from the Dunhuang culture and tourism authority gave a detailed introduction to the city's cultural tourism resources, industries and products.
Visitors can access digitally restored Dunhuang cultural projects at the Gansu pavilion from Sept 19 to 21.
