The 2nd Silk Road (Dunhuang) International Cultural Expo was held in Dunhuang on September 20, 2017.

Approximately 582 Chinese and foreign guests, from 51 countries, 3 international and regional organizations, as well as more than 2,100 exhibitors, representatives of well-known enterprises and cast members, witnessed the grand occasion of the conference.

The conference carried out a series of activities, such as exhibitions, performances, forums on creativity, economy and trade, tourism, and talks and exchanges, aiming at building a bridge of friendship between people of all countries through dialogue and the integration of different civilizations and different development models. The expo achieved fruitful and remarkable results, and won widespread praise from the international community and participants.

The expo designed six main activities with distinct themes, rich content and diverse forms, which fully reflected the important role of the inclusion of all cultural elements in economic and social development.
