Nestled on the banks of the Yongding River in the town of Yufa, in Daxing district, the Beijing Wildlife Park is a haven for over 300 species of rare wild animals from across the globe.
Enveloped by lush forests and sprawling grasslands, the park seamlessly blends into the surrounding forest, earning accolades such as the "Beijing Science Popularization Education Base" and a "Resource Unit for Social Practice for Primary and Secondary School Students" from the Beijing Municipal Education Commission.
Additionally, it was chosen as one of the inaugural "Internet-famous Check-in Sites in Beijing" and is a national 4A-level scenic spot, offering a harmonious mix of wildlife breeding, scientific research, science education and leisure tourism.
The park is divided into three distinct areas: the self-drive tour area, the predator experience area and the walking tour area.
Covering over 1,200 acres and spanning 10 kilometers, the self-drive tour area comprises seven major animal exhibition zones, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the raw and authentic animal worlds from Asia to Africa, across grasslands and plateaus. Offering both self-driving and small train tours, this area enables visitors to relish the untamed allure of the animals in their pristine natural habitat, surrounded by wildlife.

The area also features dedicated spaces such as "Wonderland" for children, "Blue Town" for photography, and the "Deer Garden" with a Chinese-style animal interaction zone, as well as experiential exhibition areas like "Madagascar Jungle", "Parrot Rainforest", "Reptile House" and "Giraffe and Elephant Exhibition Area".
