Able to enjoy free trade zone’s policy, an international innovation industry service pilot zone 

1. Location

The Beijing Free Trade Zone Innovation Service Center is located in the Lixian area of the Daxing Airport Economic Zone, with a total area of approximately 65,000 square meters. It is divided into east and west development zones, with 10 R&D office buildings in the east and eight in the west.

2. Functional Positioning

The project aims to create a health service industry cluster alongside financial investment services and health research and development services.

The center is a low-density innovative international business community with a main focus on office construction, complemented by commercial displays and expert apartments.

It is a highland that enjoys multiple favorable policies: enterprises can enjoy Free Trade Zone policies, Zhongguancun Science and Technology Innovation policies, Beijing Service Industry Opening-up policies, Daxing District 1+N policies, etc.

After companies settle in, one-stop administrative approval services will be provided, focusing on optimizing the business environment, attracting high-quality enterprises to gather, and supporting the high-quality development of the Free Trade Zone. Talent, favorable policies and financial support will also be provided.

1. Project Highlights

It is the first land acquisition and construction project in the Airport Economic Zone. It provides carrier space for companies entering the zone, meeting the basic needs of company registration, industry incubation, research and development as well as production.

Benchmarking the Vanke Mansion project in the Qianhai Free Trade Zone in Shenzhen, the project fully utilized the advantages of Free Trade Zone policies, explored the innovative 1.5-level development model, and started construction and operation in the same year.

In the design of the facade of the center, innovative material polycarbonate board systems were used as building walls, bringing ample natural lighting indoors. The naturally bright and cheerful indoor environment creates an efficient, healthy and positive work atmosphere.

Actively responding to policies of low-carbon green and energy conservation and emission reduction, it has established a "multi-station integrated" comprehensive energy station, integrating systems such as geothermal heat pumps and rooftop photovoltaics to achieve intensive control and efficient complementation of multiple energy sources such as electricity, cooling, heating, and solar energy. It is estimated that the center will save the equivalent of 300 tons of standard coal per year.

To attract top domestic and foreign financial services and medical industry enterprises, a comfortable and environmentally friendly office environment is provided for the owners. A modular design approach has been adopted, allowing the building to be divided and combined according to the different scales of the entering enterprises, maximizing flexibility.

4. Key Resident Enterprises

As of now, the center has attracted companies such as Beijing Cell Therapy Group, Beijing Xi’nuoyin Biotechnology, Beijing AegleStem Technology, Beijing Huawei Tianhe International Trade, Beijing Huada Jibi’ai Medical Laboratory and the Cell Therapy Transformation Research Institute, as well as financial institutions such as Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Huaxia Bank, and Beijing Rural Commercial Bank.

It aims to create an international innovation center in the Airport Economic Zone, as well as themed areas such as the Beijing Daxing District Human Resources Industry Park.
