In 2023, the Daxing part of the zone attracted 1,681 new enterprises, including 103 foreign-funded ones and seven companies with annual tax revenue in the tens of millions of yuan.

The cumulative number of registered enterprises reached 5,764, of which 165 are foreign-funded. The total import and export value of the free trade zone reached 1.797 billion yuan in the same year, with 30 million US dollars in foreign investment, marking a significant achievement.

The Daxing part of the airport economic zone stands as the new gateway for international exchanges in the capital and a significant platform for open functions. It is also leading the way in constructing a new pattern of higher-level reform and opening-up in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The zone has formed a "dual free trade" pattern, making it the only region in the country to have the policy advantages of two provincial and municipal free trade pilot zones simultaneously.

Additionally, it is the only comprehensive bonded zone constructed across provincial boundaries in the country. In the context of the coordinated development, the zone is jointly built and shared by Beijing and Hebei, continuously unleashing strong development momentum.
