Yiwu holds Belt and Road 'Jin' Hub international communication activity

The 2025 "Belt and Road 'Jin' Hub — Hello, Yiwu" Online International Communication Thematic Publicity Activity commenced on Dec 19 in Yiwu county-level city, Jinhua, Zhejiang province.

During the event, representatives of Yiwu merchants and international buyers shared their stories of personal growth and cross-border exchange.

Yiwu businesswoman Yao Baojuan, known for her multilingual skills, connects with global clients; He Lihong, president of the Yiwu Brands Association, leverages online platforms to expand the Yiwu Selection brand's global reach; while Brazilian trader Ana Garcia shares her business experiences in Yiwu through social media. All these examples underscore Zhejiang's open and inclusive business environment.

As participants and practitioners from key fields involved in building the "Jin" Hub, representatives from the YXE Trading Service Group, Jinyi New Area bureau of commerce, Zhejiang China Commodities City Group, and Zhejiang Wuju Opera Art Research Institute shared the progress and achievements in advancing the Belt and Road Initiative.

Xie Linghui, vice-president of Zhejiang Wuju Opera Art Research Institute, highlighted that the "Jin" Hub is not just a logistics hub but also a cultural hub. "Thanks to the platform provided by the 'Jin' Hub, we can better share China's stories and spread Chinese voices around the world."

A field trip activity was also launched, during which media reporters and online influencers visited the Global Digital Trade Center, International Trade Service Center, and Zhejiang Wuju Opera Art Research Institute in Yiwu and Jinhua on Dec 19 and 20, exploring vivid cases that showcase Jinhua and Yiwu's contributions to international trade and cultural exchange.
