An entrepreneurs' conference took place in the Dongyang Economic Development Zone in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, on Dec 24, aiming to foster mutual benefits through international collaboration under the Belt and Road Initiative.
At the conference, representatives from Uzbekistan introduced the region's resources and policies to local entrepreneurs from Jinhua, emphasizing its robust infrastructure, efficient transportation, and attractive investment incentives to potential investors.
The driving force behind this event is Chen Liyang, a local entrepreneur, who seized business opportunities during a visit to Uzbekistan in 2023. Chen has already launched three projects in the region, including a building materials industrial park.
Chen said he hopes more people can gain a broader understanding of Uzbekistan's market environment through this exchange, leveraging the Belt and Road Initiative to assist companies in exporting high-quality products globally and expanding their international market reach.
Attendees acknowledged that Uzbekistan's resource wealth and expansive market outlook make it a promising "blue ocean" for Chinese enterprises seeking global expansion.
