The 2024 National Sepaktakraw Championship will be held from July 22 to 30 in Jinhua, according to local media reports. The prestigious event will feature 16 teams and over 160 participants from across China.

This championship is one of the largest and most influential sepaktakraw events in the country. Jinhua previously hosted the event in 2019, along with other significant tournaments like the 2023 Asian Sepaktakraw Championship and the sepaktakraw events of the 19th Asian Games.

The competition will feature six events: men's and women's singles, doubles, and team events in both professional and open categories. The best-of-three format will be used to determine who receives the 12 gold medals on offer.

The Jinhua Sports Center Gymnasium, the venue for the event, which underwent upgrades for the 19th Asian Games, will host 195 matches in four courts, providing nearly 6,000 seats for spectators.

The organizing committee has established a comprehensive support team to ensure the event runs smoothly, with detailed plans for safety, medical support, and high-quality services for athletes.

Tickets are available online with real-name registration, and the venue will be divided into controlled and parking areas to ensure smooth operations. Following the championship, Jinhua will continue promoting sepaktakraw through various activities in August, encouraging more people to participate in the sport.
