Xiangzhu Old Street, stretching about 1,000 meters, is the longest ancient street in Yongkang, a county-level city of Jinhua. Since the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), it has been a bustling commercial center, with every brick, stone, house, and alley reflecting its rich history.

The shops on Xiangzhu Old Street offer traditional services like haircuts, clothing repairs, and key making, all at affordable prices, evoking a sense of nostalgia.

Old streets are an important part of any city's historical and cultural heritage. For local residents, it is a place of growth, a spiritual home, and an emotional anchor. Preserving such streets has become an important cultural mission.

In 2018, Xiangzhu Old Street underwent a quality improvement project, including protective repairs to infrastructure and revitalization of historical buildings. This ensured the street retained its historical texture while continuing to shine through the ages.

Xiangzhu Town has recently introduced various cultural activities such as creative fair markets, paper-cutting interactive experiences, and cultural exhibitions, while regular events like the hanfu festival and qipao show continue to bring a vibrant energy to the area.
