Pan'an county in Jinhua, Zhejiang province recently signed an agreement with Shanghai Linqingxuan Biotechnology Co in a bid to promote cooperation in the cultivation of high-quality Camellia oleifera, research projects, and brand promotion.

This initiative is part of the efforts by local authorities to establish a comprehensive oil-tea industrial chain and deepen the integration of agriculture and tourism to drive common prosperity, noted Zhang Xuan, deputy head of the Pan'an county government.

Pan'an, which boasts 18,000 mu (1,200 hectares) of Camellia oleifera plantations and three standardized demonstration bases, has a long history of planting oil-tea camellia.

The county has in recent years been focusing on advancing the integration of agriculture, industry, and tourism to expand income channels for local residents.
