The "Yijing" app, Zhejiang province's first immigration service platform for foreign business people, was launched in Yiwu, Jinhua, on May 23.

The app, which integrates 126 services related to government, business, and daily life for foreigners in Yiwu, allows users to book appointments, handle accommodation registration, and manage 17 immigration-related matters such as visa applications online.

The app also offers services like opening personal foreign exchange settlement accounts, streamlines processes for investment, entrepreneurship, and financial services, as well as extends into personalized and lifestyle-oriented services, noted Lou Wenrong, director of the Yiwu Immigration Bureau.

Lou added that, before the launch of the app, the registration process for foreign-funded enterprises involved eight departments, but has now been integrated into a single category, allowing foreign entrepreneurs to complete the entire process at a single window in one visit. The approval period has been reduced from 29 working days to 10 working days.

Yiwu has also established comprehensive interconnectivity and access to information and data regarding foreign nationals across 17 departments, further enhancing the city's international trade credit evaluation system.

In addition, the city is accelerating the construction of an offline immigration affairs service center to provide a full range of services for foreign investors, including foreign-related comprehensive business, entrepreneurship and employment, policy announcements, talent services, and cultural salons.
