Hengdian World Studios, situated in Dongyang, a county-level city in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, began showcasing its prowess at the 28th Hong Kong International TV and Film Market (FILMART) on March 11, where eight leading film and television cultural enterprises are appearing.
At the exhibition, which spans across four days, the Hengdian booth highlights its strengths in real-life film and television shooting bases, services, and "Made in Hengdian" productions.
This presentation has attracted a plethora of domestic and foreign exhibitors from regions including Singapore, Canada, Chongqing, Shandong, and others, sparking fruitful business negotiations.
FILMART, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, stands as the largest event of its kind in Asia and the second largest globally, drawing over 700 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions in this year's edition.
Following this successful showcase, the Hengdian delegation will proceed to Macau to gain deeper insights into the current state of Macau's film and television industry and its supportive policies.
The delegation's itinerary includes meetings with key agencies such as the Film School of Macau University of Science and Technology and the Macau Film and Television Culture Industry Development Promotion Association.
Additionally, the delegation aims to foster substantial cooperation in film and television shooting, base construction, and academic research.
