Yongkang, a county-level city in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, has taken significant steps to assist hardware enterprises in expanding their businesses overseas.
For example, authorities recently held a launch ceremony aimed at facilitating the international expansion of more hardware enterprises, during which 30 hardware export companies entered into agreements with Merit Link Group, an international service platform specializing in the hardware and tool industry.
In 2023, nearly 2,000 enterprises in Yongkang were involved in export activities, with 116 companies surpassing $10 million in exports, and four companies exceeding $100 million.
In 2024, the city is committed to hosting a minimum of seven exhibitions, holding 35 business events, and organizing over 40 delegations to facilitate entry into new markets.
Simultaneously, the local government will extend support for the development of internet industrial platforms like Merit Link, and will coordinate the participation of over 35 companies in exhibitions across Germany, Russia, and other countries.
