Jinhua in Zhejiang province launched 62 major projects with a combined investment of 177.1 billion yuan ($24.61 billion) on Feb 18.
These projects, which span across nine fields, including transportation facilities, advanced manufacturing, and well-being infrastructure, will further enhance the city's industrial competitiveness and improve its urban infrastructure, as highlighted by a local official.
The most significant investment is earmarked for the construction of the Ningbo-Jinhua Railway, totaling 28.7 billion yuan.
Furthermore, Jinhua is strategically focusing on chain-leading industrial projects with robust innovation capabilities and substantial growth potential. Notably, the city has initiated a 5.2-billion-yuan project for new energy commercial vehicle parts and intelligent equipment
The facility is expected to produce 50,000 sets of complete vehicle parts and 1,000 sets of new energy intelligent equipment annually, contributing to the upgrading of the city's intelligent manufacturing industry.
