More than 500 young people in Yongkang, a county-level city in Jinhua, Zhejiang province immersed themselves in the traditional Chinese New Year ambiance at the city's Juvenile Activity Center on Feb 3.

A total of 10 Spring Festival folk custom activities, including lantern-making, paper-cutting, and traditional Chinese New Year painting, were organized. These activities have been an annual tradition at the center since 2015.

A representative of the center emphasized that hosting the activities is part of efforts to strengthen the younger generation's appreciation and pride in rich Chinese traditional culture.
