Jinhua, CITIC Group seek enhanced cooperation

On Jan 18, Zhu Chonglie, Party secretary of Jinhua in Zhejiang province, met with a delegation from CITIC Group, holding in-depth discussions on comprehensive innovation and deepening cooperation.

Zhu extended a warm welcome to delegation, expressing gratitude to CITIC Group for its longstanding support and assistance to Jinhua, as well as outlining the city's economic development and advantageous geographical location.

Emphasizing the need for enhanced collaboration, Zhu proposed establishing a special task force to bolster cooperation in fields such as technological innovation, nurturing key industrial chains, fund attraction, industrial chain investment attraction, comprehensive licensed financial services, future industry introduction, overseas cooperation, and new infrastructure.

Zhu also highlighted the need for local State-owned enterprises to study the outstanding management concepts and practices of CITIC Group and its subsidiaries, promoting the market-oriented transformation of these enterprises, and enhancing their core competitiveness.

Su Guoxin, general manager of the Business Coordination Department of CITIC Group, noted during the meeting that Jinhua enjoys obvious locational advantages, developed industrial clusters, and a favorable business environment. He also mentioned that a number of CITIC investment projects have taken root in the city.

Executives from CITIC Group subsidiaries, including CITIC Bank, CITIC Securities, CITIC Construction, CITIC Consulting, CITIC Securities, CITIC Construction Investment, CITIC Medical, China Huarong, CITIC Heavy Industries, also expressed their willingness to further collaborate with Jinhua.
