A sea-rail intermodal train carrying 110 containers of export cargo recently departed from the Jinhuanan Railway Station and headed towards the Ningbo Zhoushan Port, marking the maiden voyage of the specialized sea-rail intermodal service with a dedicated refundable bill of lading.
This freight train provides import and export enterprises with more convenient and efficient localized services. It not only issues bills of lading via Jinhuanan Railway Station but also benefits from local customs services and the refundable tax policy for land-based departure ports.
In practical terms, customers can book locally, issue bills of lading, and share container resources in Jinhua, implementing multimodal door-to-door single-document transportation with ease.
Following the implementation of the land-based departure port tax refund policy in Jinhua in October, 2023, eligible export enterprises can apply for tax refund. This process involves submitting the electronic information of the export customs declaration form at the departure port after customs declaration.
Moreover, in a significant development, Ningbo Port International Logistics Co and Jinhua Zhezhong Intermodal Port Co have inked a share transfer agreement, marking the official launch of the container management center of the Ningbo Zhoushan Port in Jinhua.
