Yiwu works to build distribution center for RCEP imported goods

Yiwu in Zhejiang province is making efforts to build a distribution center for imported goods under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).

Since the implementation of RCEP on Jan 1, 2022, the Yiwu Bonded Logistics Center has been increasing its efforts in distributing RCEP country's imported goods through both general trade and cross-border e-commerce channels.

The center achieved a total import value of 2.54 billion yuan ($356.64 million) from RCEP countries from January to December last year, a year-on-year growth of 9.5 percent.

Currently, the center has established trade relations with 10 RCEP member countries, with the total import value accounting for 25.8 percent of the total import value in Yiwu.
