Jinhua holds tourism investment promotion conference in Hangzhou

Jinhua held a tourism investment promotion conference in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province on Dec 14, according to local media reports.

Representatives of 150 cultural and tourism enterprises from the Yangtze River Delta region, including the China Youth Travel, H World Group Limited, and New Century Hotels Resorts, attended the event.

Li Binfeng, vice-mayor of Jinhua, noted at the conference that Jinhua will sustain efforts to optimize the business environment and expressed hope that more entrepreneurs will come to the city to tap into its cultural and tourism heritage and develop more boutique tourism products and tour routes.

Thirteen projects with a combined investment of 10 billion yuan ($1.40 billion) were secured during the event, and a 30 billion yuan tourism financial credit agreement was signed by the Jinhua bureau of culture, radio, television, and tourism and the Jinhua Branch of Agricultural Bank of China.

From January to October, Jinhua achieved a total investment of 49.95 billion yuan in cultural and tourism industry projects, while from January to November, the city received a total of 104 million tourists, a year-on-year growth of 25.32 percent.
