Yiwu in Zhejiang province was honored as the "Best Brand Exhibition City" at the 4th China International Exhibition Brand Conference held in Beijing from Dec 12 to 13.
More than 500 representatives from national exhibition management departments, industry associations, organizers, exhibition venues, and exhibition service providers attended the event.
The Yiwu Market Development Commission was invited to participate in the opening ceremony and the Brand Exhibition City Construction and Development Forum, among other activities, to engage in exchanges with well-known domestic and international exhibition organizers, local exhibition authorities, and exhibition service enterprises.
Yiwu has held 51 commercial exhibitions this year, with an exhibition area exceeding one million square meters, attracting 1.68 million professional buyers from both domestic and international markets.
The scale of the exhibitions this year has reached a decade-high for the same period.
