Shi Ling, a resident of Wucheng district in Jinhua, Zhejiang province likes spending time with her granddaughter at Huancheng Park every afternoon.

Shi said that the park is one of the 24 pocket parks that the Wucheng government spent 60 million yuan ($8.4 million) to build last year and has significantly improved the living environment in her community.

The pocket parks, which feature landscaping, seating areas, and small playgrounds, serve as gathering places for local residents, offer a respite from the urban environment, and contribute to the overall livability and well-being of a community.

The district is currently home to more than 30 pocket parks that have significantly enhanced urban livability.
