The "Inner Child's World, The World's Child — 2023 Seminar on The International Dissemination of The Works of The New Generation of Chinese Children's Literature Writers" was held in Wuyi county, Jinhua, Zhejiang province on Nov 20.
More than 120 experts and writers engaged in the creation, publication, research and criticism of children's literature from 12 countries gathered to discuss the development of Chinese children's literature.
At the launching ceremony of "Chinese Fairy Tale Going Out in 2024", the Wuyi county government and Zhejiang Juvenile and Children's Publishing House signed cooperation agreements on fairy tales including overseas publishing, reading promotion, research-based learning and investment projects.
Wuyi has been committed to the brand building of "Fairy Tale Wuyi" for ten years. It has been endeavoring to extend the industrial chain of fairy tale activities and expand the spread of the fairy tale brand.
Writers from Wuyi have written and published over 500 works of children's literature. Tang Hongying (often called Tang Tang), a leading writer, has written more than 100 fairy tales.
Fourteen of Tang's works have been published in 8 countries and regions including France, Japan and the United States.
The global promotion and multi-language promotion of Tang's works were included among the fourth groups of (2023) "Belt and Road" publishing cooperation typical cases of the Publishers Association of China.
