The X8020/19 Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe Railway Express departed from Jinhuanan Railway Station (Jindong platform) in Jinhua, Zhejiang province to Budapest, capital of Hungary, on Nov 21.

The train, loaded with 110 containers of PV modules and daily necessities, is the 10th anniversary train of the Belt and Road to set off from the Jindong platform in Jinhua.

From Aug 2017, when the first train set out, to Nov 20, 2023, the Jindong platform sent 2,665 CR Express trains carrying over 218,000 twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEU) containers.

To date, the Jindong platform has opened 13 outward lines covering more than 30 countries and regions and reaching over 160 cities. It has become an important logistics transport channel among countries and cities along the route.

The anniversary train is the first train to set out since the optimization of the Jinhua-Budapest line. It is monitored and controlled by a specially-assigned person throughout the entire process to ensure the seamless connection and stable transportation of all sections and guarantee timely delivery.

Next, the railway department, cooperating with customs, will enhance customized services and flexibly adjust work processes to promote the regular operation of Jinhua-Budapest trains.
