Jinhua in Zhejiang province held an industry promotion conference in Shanghai on Nov 9 as part of efforts to attend the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) from Nov 5 to 10.
Representatives from more than 20 global top 500 companies, MNCs, and industry-leading enterprises attended the event.
Authorities outlined Jinhua's major industrial chains that cover new energy vehicles, intelligent photovoltaics, electric tools, biomedicine, and information technology application innovation, as well as its favorable business environment.
Attendees noted that they were impressed by Jinhua's convenient transportation, robust real economy, rich cultural heritage, and high-level of openness and inclusiveness. They expressed hope that they can increase cooperation with the city as it seeks to build itself into an advanced manufacturing base.
Holding such event is an important step for the city in strengthening connections with Shanghai and contributing to the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.
