A wetland park in Jindong district, Jinhua, Zhejiang province has become a popular destination among those looking to get closer to nature.
The park is one of 28 projects in which the local government has invested 230 million yuan ($31.59 million) to aid its common prosperity drive.
The projects, which are related to facilities such as a camping site, an ancient street, a rice field park, and an agricultural park, are expected to increase residents' incomes by more than 150 million yuan a year.
Authorities have in recent years been channeling more resources into environmental protection and tapping into Jindong's natural resources to build a wetland park, which has attracted flocks of urban residents to experience slow-paced rural life.
