A route in Jinhua has been shortlisted as a national boutique rural tour to take in autumn, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism recently announced.

One hundred and forty-nine routes in the country made the list.

The route consists of five places: Jindong district's Beishankou village, Jinhua Development Zone's Baihe village, Wucheng district's Andi town, Yiwu's Fotang Ancient Town, and Yongkang's Zhoushan town.

Beishankou village, which has a history of more than 1,000 years, is best known for its fingered citrons.

Baihe village is renowned for its pleasant scenery and fresh air, and visitors can play in the water, explore the jungle, fish for crayfish and pick lotus roots.

Andi town boasts more than 900 mu (60 hectares) of osmanthus trees, stretching five kilometers.

Fotang is a major producer of brown sugar and hosts the brown sugar festival from late October to early-mid November every year.

Zhoushan town, which is famous for its ancient buildings, holds a persimmon festival from late October to early November every year.
