Jinhua in East China's Zhejiang province is accelerating construction of international land-port transport hubs to promote the city's high-quality development.

Multiple transport hub projects are under construction. After completing the project of Jinyi Central Avenue, which connects Jinhua and Yiwu, the other city in Zhejiang, the traveling time between the two cities will be only 20 minutes. The Jinyi project serves as an important part of Jinhua's expressway network. As of Oct 25, more than 97 percent of the pillar of the road project had been completed.

The city is also strengthening the expansion and renovation of the railway hub project with a total investment of about 25.7 billion yuan ($3.5 billion). Once completed, the project will handle nearly 30 percent of the traffic flow from the Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railway, increasing the passenger capacity of the Jinjian Railway by 5.5 times.

The expansion and renovation of the Jinhua railway hub will act as an economic bridge connecting the east coast and the western inland regions, providing greater support for the economic development strategies of both regions.

Over the next five years, Jinhua's road transportation will be fully integrated with the Yangtze River Delta region to facilitate the free flow of population, labor, capital and logistics.
