Jinhua in East China's Zhejiang province unveiled 10 boutique travel routes on Aug 24, the start of the 30-day countdown to the Asian Games.
The 10 routes feature red culture, sports and leisure, study and rural tours, and cultural relics, and include famous scenic attractions such as Hengdian World Studios, Shuanglong scenic area, Yiwu International Trade Market, Youbu Ancient Town, and Wuyi hot springs.
A smart tour guide system was also released during the event to provide better services to tourists during the Games.
Zhang Ling, a Jinhua native artistic gymnastics champion, was appointed as a promoter of the city's culture and tourism.
A lecture on sepak takraw was also held during the event, as Jinhua will host several sepak takraw matches, and all six gold medals in the event will be given at its Asian Games venues.
More than 1 million people have volunteered to help during the Games, which will be crucial to advancing in-depth integration of culture, sports and tourism, said a local official.
