Jinhua in East China's Zhejiang province has rolled out 10 measures this year to help college graduates find jobs.
The measures include hosting special job fairs, providing one-to-one assistance, offering subsidies to graduates who start businesses, and conducting vocational training sessions.
Authorities have provided services to graduates in terms of policy counseling, career guidance, job posts, and internships.
To date, those who have left college but have not got employment have wholly received the services.
Wang Dongyu, a recruiting manager of Zhejiang Ronma Sola Co based in Jinhua, said that his company provided 43 jobs catering for college graduates at a job fair held in the city on July 21, and will provide 1,600 jobs to college graduates when his company begins operations in October.
Authorities have also launched an initiative that mobilizes State-owned enterprises and government-sponsored institutions to roll out more jobs to college graduates, offering more than 500 such posts in 2023.
In addition, authorities have been striving to strengthen employment services at county, township, and village levels by creating 15-minute employment service circles and opening special service windows for college graduates.
These service platforms will function as a bridge between college graduates and employers in terms of position matching and personal information registration.
