With small but majestic buildings, spacious asphalt roads, and clear pools, Yuhuang village of Geshan township in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province, looks like a garden community. Nearby, a large commercial complex called Yefeng Plaza, which will include apartments, shops, and recreational venues, is being built.

Guided by the Green Rural Revival Program, which was put forward two decades ago, a beautiful countryside has taken shape in every village of Geshan township, with both economic growth and people's living environment having improved. The program offers a solid path to promoting integrated urban-rural development, advancing rural revitalization and striving for common prosperity.

In Wangcunguang village in Geshan township, the sight of a massive jujube forest is spectacular. In order to revitalize the jujube industry, the local government specifically invited agricultural experts to guide villagers in scientific cultivation and management. The entire village has over 500 mu (33 hectares) of jujube trees, generating 4 million yuan ($558,000) in income.

While focusing on the deep processing of jujubes, the village has also created a "Sports+" tourism brand centered around "special jujube cultivation," which combines picking, sightseeing, sports cycling, and cultural education. Since the first Jujube Leisure Sports Festival was held in 2017, this event has become a platform for promoting the rapid development of the tourism and leisure industries in Geshan.
