Nine cultural relics in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province have been listed as provincial cultural relic preservation units, the Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau announced recently.

One hundred and twenty-one cultural relics in the province made the list.

The nine cultural relics consist of four ancient ruins, three modern historical sites and buildings, an ancient tomb and an ancient building.

The ancient tomb, located in Juxi village in Pan'an county, Jinhua, was built in the Song Dynasty (960-1279), while the tomb belonged to Kong Ruojun, a descendant of the great ancient Chinese philosopher Confucius.

The tomb was discovered in 2015 and is of great significance to the study of Confucius culture.

Jinhua is currently home to 38 major historical and cultural sites under national level protection, 141 such sites under provincial level protection and 810 sites under county-level protection.
