A Jinhua delegation led by the city's Party Secretary Zhu Chonglie visited Macau University of Science and Technology on June 28 to conduct cooperation and exchange on traditional Chinese medicine technologies.
Liu Chak Wan, chairman of the MUST council, said that MUST will channel more resources towards the industrialization of traditional Chinese medicine and the standardization of medicinal material evaluation as well as cooperate with Jinhua to make technological breakthroughs and develop new products.
Zhu expressed hope that both sides will give full play to their comparative advantages and expedite the commercialization of MUST's scientific and technological achievements in Jinhua's traditional Chinese medicine sector.
Zhu added that both sides will strengthen traditional Chinese medicine cultural exchanges and conduct in-depth cooperation in the conservation and promotion of the culture surrounding Chinese traditional medicine.
The delegation also conducted a field survey of Macao's urban planning and exhibition industry during the visit.
