Nearly 1.82 million tourists took a trip to Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province, during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday from June 22 to 24, representing a year-on-year increase of 21.77 percent, according to official statistics.
The top four tourist destinations were the Yiwu International Trade City shopping area, Dongyang's Huayuan village, Dongyang's Hengdian Film and Television Studios, and Wuzhou Ancient Town, which received a total of more than 440,000 tourists during the holiday, an uptick of 100 percent year-on-year.
A series of folk activities such as dragon boat races, night tours and night markets also attracted flocks of tourists.
