Jinhua mayor meets with consul general of South Korea in Shanghai

Xing Zhihong, mayor of Jinhua in East China's Zhejiang province, met with a delegation led by Kim Young-jun, consul general of South Korea in Shanghai on June 19.

Xing said that Jinhua has established close ties with South Korea in economics and trade, tourism and cultural exchange, while Yiwu, a county-level city in Jinhua, has established friendly relations with six cities in South Korea.

Xing added that Jinhua held a Sino-Korean cultural and tourism promotional event on June 13, which will advance in-depth cultural and tourism cooperation between the two sides.

Xing expressed hope that both sides will deepen friendly cooperation, strengthen complementary advantages and expand areas of cooperation. He also invited South Koreans to the city to watch the sepak takraw and soccer competitions during the 19th Asian Games.

Kim expressed hope that Jinhua will continue supporting South Korean enterprises and businessmen that conduct business in the city as well as strengthen cooperation in various fields.
