Jinhua was selected on the list of demonstration cities for public employment and entrepreneurship service, recently released by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.
The demonstration cities needed to have a complete service system, standard service regulations, convenient and intelligent service ways and remarkable service results to be considered.
In recent years, Jinhua has been carrying out an employment priority strategy. Since the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025), the city has newly increased job opportunities for more than 380,000 people. It has attracted over 100,000 university students for four consecutive years by annually holding about 1,000 online and on-site job fairs. Jinhua is proactive in assisting poor people to get jobs. It has provided employment assistance to 211,800 people since 2021.
Jinhua has built a training and cultivation system for youth entrepreneurship. It has annually held 220 salons and entrepreneurship activities, and has established 115 entrepreneurship incubation bases that attracted 4,711 companies offering job opportunities to 45,000 people. Jinhua's technical colleges have more than 30,000 students and teachers, and have annually trained 4,000 apprentice students. Since 2021, Jinhua has organized vocational training for 500,000 people and given subsidies exceeding 700 million yuan ($98.39 million).
