The Baishaxi irrigation system in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province, is listed among the 10 national travel routes themed on the Yangtze River, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced on May 5.

The routes cover provinces like Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Hubei, and Guizhou.

The route that goes through Jinhua features water conservancy projects along the Yangtze River, including the Three Gorges project and the Dujiangyan irrigation project.

The oldest irrigation system in Zhejiang, the Baishaxi water conservancy project provides irrigation, flood control, and water storage.

The water conservancy project was listed among the world's irrigation projects in 2020.
