Dongyang's GDP tops 18.67b yuan in Q1

The GDP of Dongyang, a county-level city in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province totaled 18.67 billion yuan ($2.69 billion) in the first quarter, a year-on-year increase of 7.14 percent, the city's statistics bureau announced on April 23.

The added values of the city's primary, secondary and tertiary industries were 260 million yuan, 7.73 billion yuan and 10.68 billion yuan, respectively, up 3.2 percent, 4.1 percent, and 10 percent.

Over the period, the added value of the city's above-designated-size industrial enterprises increased by 6.2 percent to 3.98 billion yuan, while the city's fixed asset investment increased by 15.1 percent year-on-year.

The per capita disposable income of all residents in the city was 18,885 yuan, an uptick of 4.7 percent year-on-year. The per capita disposable income of urban residents was 22,737 yuan, an uptick of 4.12 percent year-on-year, while that of rural residents was 12,230 yuan, an increase of 5.5 percent.

The city's imports and exports were valued at 5.54 billion yuan, up 2.25 percent year-on-year.

The combined output value of the agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishing industries totaled 344 million yuan in the first three months of this year, an uptick of 3.52 percent year-on-year.
