1st international scientific, technological cooperation conference opens in Jinhua

The 1st International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Conference was held in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province on April 20.

More than 300 scholars, entrepreneurs, and investors from 14 countries attended the event, during which they exchanged ideas about the integration of healthcare and intelligent manufacturing.

Zhang Guangjun, deputy minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, said in his video address that the conference was aimed at enhancing the manufacturing sector's digital transformation, and that he hopes cooperation between the world's scientific and technological communities will be further expanded.

Jiang Zhengui, deputy secretary general of the provincial government, said at the conference that Zhejiang will sustain efforts to create a favorable environment for international scientific and technological cooperation, as well as expedite the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements.

Zhu Chonglie, Party secretary of Jinhua, noted at the conference that Jinhua will implement a series of measures to optimize its business environment as it is key to the free flow of capital, technology and talent.

The opening ceremony also witnessed the establishment of a non-governmental service alliance for international technological innovation and the signing of deals for 42 international scientific and technological cooperation projects.
