The Zhejiang-Angola Trade and Investment Conference was held in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province on April 20.
Representatives of Yongkang hardware town in Jinhua signed a cooperation agreement with the Angola Chamber of Commerce in Zhejiang at the conference.
According to the agreement, Yongkang hardware town will build a hardware facility in Angola, which would help bolster the African nation's manufacturing industry.
Representatives from 100 of the city's enterprises had face-to-face exchanges with more than 30 purchasers from Angola during the event.
Zhejiang's foreign trade with Angola in 2022 was worth $1.54 billion, up 85.2 percent year-on-year, official statistics show.
As of the end of 2022, the province had 25 enterprises in Angola with a combined investment of $118 million.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Angola, and Zhejiang is expected to use this occasion to explore new room for further cooperation with the country.
