China Animation Comic Game Group signed an agreement to build an animation vocational college in Jinhua Economic Development Zone in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province on April 14.
The 266,400-square-meter college, which will cost 2 billion yuan ($290.8 million) to build, will provide talent support to the city's comics and animation industry.
The college, which will have seven schools related to animations, games, films, virtual reality, and omnimedia, as well as an animation technology center, will enroll 2,500 students a year.
CACGG will also invest in building an animation industrial park and a theme park near the college.
