Investment in industrial technological transformation in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province, amounted to 3.1 billion yuan ($450.77 million) in the first two months of this year, up 42.9 percent year-on-year, official statistics show.
This is largely due to efforts by authorities to roll out favorable policies and provide financial support in recent years.
Jinhua Xintian Gear Wheel Co Ltd is a pioneer of digital transformation and intelligent upgrading, and has invested 40 million yuan in numerical control equipment.
Dongjing Electronics (Jinhua) Co Ltd, which has been able to produce 830,000 quartz crystals per day since its intelligent factory was put into operation, is another company that has performed well in industrial technological transformation.
Industrial technological transformation has been helping improve the competitiveness and advance the industrial upgrading of manufacturing enterprises in the city, said local authorities.
