Lanxi, a county-level city of Jinhua, has been experiencing a surge in production and order fulfillment, with many foreign trade companies working tirelessly to meet increasing demand.
In addition to manufacturing, these companies are also focusing on product research and development, as well as expanding their market presence.
One such company is Zhejiang Ruiyide Automotive Parts Co, a helmet manufacturer that provides targeted research and development services for numerous domestic and international brands. The company has obtained certifications from several countries, including the United States DOT, European ECE, and Brazil NBR, among others.
Zhu Xubin, chairman of the company, said their factory has been scheduled for orders until August this year, with daily output exceeding 3,000 items.
Despite the pandemic's effect on exports, the company has started to develop in the domestic market and has achieved significant sales with its self-designed and developed "Sailuo" brand. Zhu also expressed his company's commitment to continuing product research and development as a long-term investment.
The local government has made efforts to encourage enterprises to go overseas and seek business opportunities. Four companies from Lanxi participated in a business delegation organized by Jinhua to Indonesia last December. They achieved deals worth 27.1 million yuan ($3.93 million) and won 167.5 million yuan in intended orders after visiting 21 potential clients.
