The Yiwu International Trade Market in Yiwu, East China's Zhejiang province, welcomed its first business day of the Year of the Rabbit on Feb 2.

With an abundant variety of commodities, efficient logistics, and a good business environment, Yiwu is often referred to as "the world's supermarket."

An Indian businessman surnamed Deepak, who has been doing business in Yiwu for 15 years, signed a contract for sock machines worth 2 million yuan ($296,400).

"Over 70 percent of sock machines in New Delhi were imported from Yiwu by me," he said. "Last month, I invited at least 60 Indian businesspeople to visit Yiwu and make purchases."

Various supporting services of the industrial chain involved in Yiwu's market operation, such as logistics, express delivery, e-commerce and other industries, have been prepared for the reopening.
