A total of 96 companies from Jinhua are attending the 2022 Zhejiang Agricultural Fair, which opened in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, on Jan 9.
More than 16,000 agricultural companies from across the country have brought over 13,000 products to the fair, which will run until Jan 12.
During the opening ceremony, Jinhua Deputy Mayor Zhao Qiuli promoted the Jinhua panda pig, also known as the Jinhua two-end black pig.
The pig, a specialty of Jinhua in Zhejiang province, is so named because of its black skin and hair at the head and rump. It has thin skin, fine bones, tender meat and high fat content.

Jinhua ham, meat cakes and flaky pastries made from its meat were popular among visitors at the exhibition area of Jinhua during the event. Jinhua's exhibition area had 71 standards booths promoting an array of quality agricultural products.
Twenty-eight products from Jinhua also took home awards at the event's award ceremony - ranking third in the province.
During the online edition of the 2022 Zhejiang Agricultural Fair held from Dec 2 to 6, a total of 1,121 special Jinhua agricultural products were promoted at the special exhibitions and sales activities online, generating a total of 854,000 yuan ($126,071.68) in sales.
