A total of 35 Jinhua-based enterprises saw $119 million in intended turnover during the three-day 13th China-United Arab Emirates Trade Expo in Dubai from Dec 19 to 21, the local bureau of commerce announced on Dec 25.

Xie Senyun, general manager of Jinhua Senmei Household Products Co, said the company signed over 10 deals worth more than $5 million at the expo. Xie planed to go visit some buyers in Turkey after staying in Dubai for a few days to catch up with old customers.

During the expo, the Jinhua trade delegation hosted an investment environment promotion meeting and invited over 20 representatives of overseas Chinese and chambers of commerce in Dubai.

According to a director of the Jinhua trade delegation, hardware products from Yongkang, a county-level city of Jinhua, are expected to gain a larger market share in the UAE. In order to support overseas logistics, Jinhua will build an overseas warehouse in the Jebel Ali Free Trade Zone, which is located in an important area of the Middle East.

During their stay in Dubai, the Jinhua trade delegation also visited electronic vehicle company NWTN Motors Co. The company has invested in a new energy vehicle project in Jinhua, which is currently under construction.
