The opening ceremony of the 17th Games of Zhejiang Province will be held at the Jinhua Sports Center on the evening of Nov 18.
Themed on "common prosperity and shared future", the ceremony will show Zhejiang-themed performances highlighting the city's charm and emphasizing sports.
The performances will be divided into four parts and showcase the culture of Jinhua city and Zhejiang province.
The ceremony will intersperse the ritual part into each performance to make the show more lively. More than 2,600 performers, including 82 professional actors, popular signers and Wuju opera performers from 18 organizations will take part in the show.
The main stage for the ceremony will cover 1,600 square meters with vibrant visual light effects and a 7,140-square-meter projection area.
At the opening ceremony, four champions of the Tokyo Olympics and Wuju Opera actress Yang Xiayun will perform the torch relay and light the main torch tower in a special way.
The Games of Zhejiang Province are the largest sporting event in the province and areheld every four years. This is the first time Jinhua - a city in central or western Zhejiang - has hosted a provincial sporting event.
