A group of young African scholars embarked on a visit to Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province on Sept 21 to learn about the city's system of multiparty cooperation and political consultation under the leadership of the CPC.
Liu Hongwu, director of the Institute of African Studies at Zhejiang Normal University, said he hopes that the Jinhua municipal committee of the CPPCC would strengthen cooperation with the Institute of African Studies at Zhejiang Normal University to provide a platform of cooperation and exchanges for African scholars.
Dr Yoro, a Malian who has lived and worked in China for nine years, said the activity showed him that the interests of the Chinese have always come first in the nation's economic development.
