Jinhua designated pilot city for IPR protection

Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province, was recently listed as a pilot city for the construction of effective intellectual property protection by the China National Intellectual Property Administration, according to local media outlets.

According to the official announcement, a total of 72 cities have been designated as pilot demonstration cities for IP protection, and 38 cities have been included on the list of demonstration cities for IP protection.

In May 2019, Jinhua was approved as a national intellectual property demonstration city. The city's nine counties and industrial parks have been listed as pilot locations to demonstrate IP protection by the province and the country.

Among them, Yiwu has become a national intellectual property demonstration city, Dongyang was named a national demonstration city for traditional intellectual property protection, and the Jinhua High-tech Industrial Park was designated a national IP protection pilot park.

Jinhua's Wucheng district, Jindong district, Lanxi, Yongkang, Pujiang county, and Hengdian Electronic Industrial Park were listed as provincial intellectual property demonstration areas.
