Over 300 cycling enthusiasts participated in the Jinhua Cycling Climbing League in the Jinhua Mountain scenic area on July 10.
The competition was held along the classic cycling route of Jinhua Mountain, which passes a number of popular tourist attractions and is known as "the most beautiful cycling road in East China".
The 12-kilometer cycling route starts from Luodian town and ends at the Huangdaxian Ancestral Palace, passing scenic areas such as the Former Site of Shuanglong Power Station, Shuanglong Cave, and Lunyu Lake.
The route, integrating steep slopes, S-bends, hairpin bends, and U-bends, tests people's abilities in climbing, physical fitness, riding technologies, and choosing routes.
After fierce competition, Shi Wentong and Xie Cuifeng won in the men's and women's categories, respectively.
The cycling event is a part of the second Jinhua Mountain Health, Culture, and Tourism Festival, aiming to showcase the natural beauty of the city through sports in order to promote the integrated development of Jinhua's culture, tourism and sports.
