A total of 35 key projects with a total investment of 18.1 billion yuan ($2.7 billion) started construction in Lanxi, a county-level city in Jinhua, on June 28.
The 35 projects include 19 industrial projects with 13.64 billion yuan in investment and 16 public construction projects worth about 4.48 billion yuan, with various projects promoting the development of emerging industries such as new energy, new materials, medicine and health, and intelligent equipment.
Lanxi Zhide New Energy Materials Co will spend 1 billion yuan building the first phase of its production base for silicon-carbon integrated anode materials. After reaching full production capacity, it is expected to produce 8,000 metric tons of silicon-carbon anode materials annually, with an annual output value of more than 4 billion yuan.
In order to further improve the city's overall environment, Lanxi will carry out various projects related to the integration of culture and tourism, the promotion of rural tourism, the improvement of scenic areas and environment protection.
In addition, reconstruction work on Huangdaxian Road (Huancheng North Road to Kaixuan Road) and Juren Road (Renmin South Road to Yunshan Road) will improve transport conditions in old town areas and better serve surrounding residents, according to officials.
